Ten Spiritual Lessons We Learn From Kids

Mark 10:13-16

2.  Kids imitate their parents.
1 Peter 1:14-15

3. Kids trust their parents to provide for them.
Matthew 6:26; 7:9-11

4.  Kids feel safe knowing their parents are near.
Psalm 56:3

5.  Kids need discipline.
Hebrews 12:5-11

6.  Kids are always learning and growing.
Hebrews 5:12-14; 1 Peter 2:2-3

7.  Kids do not want to grieve their parents.
Ephesians 4:30

8.  Kids are loved by their parents unconditionally.
Romans 8:35-39

9.  Kids show us our value is not in our abilities and accomplishments.
1 Corinthians 1:26-30

10.  Kids remind us that the Gospel – Good News of Jesus – is wonderfully simple.
John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 1:18-25; Colossians 2:6

Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so.  Spiritual maturity is not moving past this, but deeper into this.
